Taking part as a church

Individual households can take part in the scheme. However, it’s even better when churches get involved, encouraging members to take part, encouraging each other, and celebrating each others’ success through giving out awards in services.
What does it involve?
- Nominate a contact person for the scheme at your church – this person will be notified when church members achieve an award
- Encourage members of your church to join Creation Care
- Celebrate successes! You might like to do this through giving out awards certificates during services.
How do churches sign up?

Creation Care and Eco Church
Creation Care is separate to A Rocha UK’s Eco Church Awards. Churches can take part in either scheme without being part of the other. Creation Care focuses on encouraging church members to take action to care for God’s creation, whereas Eco Church looks across all areas of a church’s activity.
